Recapturing the moments of Raya Haji

  by   Monday, August 27, 2018   3 comments
This raya haji has been the most happening since we finally took turn celebrating hari raya haji, sebelah ibu in Pahang. ooh right, just like in previous years, raya haji isnt a big deal to balik kampung since i've no atoks and neneks to visit to, so we were likely to spend the whole day visiting families and relatives in KL or else staying at home, watching tv. Walla!

But this raya, we decided to balik kampung to fulfil the walimatul'urus of my very own cousin, Kak Yaya and errr, husband! Welcome to the legacy, Abang Raja!

Apart the wedding, i finally get to see the young woo in a single picture framed by Mak Andak. and yup, woo refers to nenek in bahasa kampar. i've been mentioned what's behind the woo thingy before and also our family roots. hehehe, so why not you check them out in here?

My woo was on the right, wearing selendang and the boy in the picture was Pak Dahlan.

Pak Dahlan is a father to Kak Yaya and a big brother to my mum. He's humorous and can tell good jokes in an intelligent way. i remember everytime i met him during hari raya, he would make a joke of my brother, Iqbal with his catchphrase "kita ada kawan nama dia iqbal, dia duduk kolumpoq" hahahaha :p

And people, meet my same age cousin, Aqila. She used to be my geng main masak-masak since childhood. Here was the photo taken in 2012, so much relatable is it?

Smile!

Cheeeeesseee...

beware those eyes, bro

i'm giving kisses to this little cute one

When i was a kid, i used to balik kampung here in Mentakab a lot when my woo was still around. But as i'm growing up, i notice that i didnt feel the festive mood, and yet it makes me wonder why. i was once feel quite awkward when it comes to family reunion, like 'am i that adult?' the fact that i'm introvert, makes everything hard to cope with people around, including the cousins. ugghh...So, i'll leave you with pictures above for now.

I'll be back next time! xoxo

Reconnecting after many years, and try our best to rekindle the friendship

After many years of disconnect, we've finally made a way to rekindle our long dormant friendship by visiting KL Forest Eco Park (malay: Taman Eko Rimba KL)

Jungle in the concrete jungle!

Does anyone remember Aliah?? a sweet girl who has moved away from Putra Perdana? She's now in Shah Alam! uuuuuu 😄😄  ok a little update on her current life in general. She's now doing diploma in Quantity Serveyor (QS) in Ipoh, Perak and i found out that she's still keep in touch with our long-lost ex-classmate, Hakimi via whatsapp :) uuuuuuu you're full of surprise ek Aliah. Here's the current picture of Aliah in the red bawal. i didn't provide any pics of her selfie since i don't have her consent. so, i just leave the cutest duo selfie of her and Fatin.

Sun-kissed Sneak Peek

We've planned to meet up at KL Sentral since Aliah has to return to her college after spent a weekend at Shah Alam (#forthesakeofus). So Fatin and i, and ooh.... i brought my 13 years-old sister, Anis just in case we need a photographer. Lol

Mini-rant
We were late to catch up Aliah by an hour since i took much time looked for convenience store at Putrajaya Sentral to get my IC for top-up as Touch 'n Go card. And there was a whole story behind it.

It all started when we were about to park our car, neither Fatin nor i brought the TnG card with us, so we stucked at the parking fee entrance for about 15 minutes since the machine only accept TnG; hence, we decided to park at the parking lot hoping they'd use ticket instead of the TnG card.

Guess what??? they only go for cashless transaction which was annoying for me at the moment.  Then Anis suggested to use IC since it could be used as TnG card. Things get complicated when I haven't top-up like ageeesss cuz i prefer ticket instead of TnG for parking. At least, We finally made it since we found an available store to top-up TnG even the store was likely far far far away in our place. Rant ends here.

Rekindle the friendship at KL Forest Eco Park

*We were finally made our way to reach the Eco Park since we're not used to monorail, ERL and stuff*

It is our very first time to get visit the Eco Park since i thought that KL has no any reserved forests. hehehe. Fyi, the entrance fee is free at the moment. Tak tahulah kan if dorang nak charge ke lepas ni.

Firstly, we've got to explore the hanging bridges, and by that i really meant those wobbly bridges. I just looooveee the landscape and magnificient view of the jungle in the city!

Gambar Fatin ready

Gambar Fatin tak ready

Aliah actually photoboomed a picture of me :p

Oooh yeah, dont ever forget to explore the trail side of the Eco Park. It's pretty easy hiking and there are various of plants and trees along the way of the trail road. But, we could make it only for 15-20 minutes since kiteorg tak larat :p

11th years of togetherness! (dahi saya jendul)

CUZ FRIENDSHIP REFRESHES THE SOUL :)

Part I: The game of repeating

  by   Wednesday, August 15, 2018   4 comments
I'm on my sixth week of semester break in 2018, and too many negative vibes already have made me feel uncomfortable. I've received an online academic calender for session 2018/2019 from Danial via whatsapp and guess what??? the first day of lecture is on Sept 10th. Ok ok chill do ain, in fact that i have report, video and forms that must be handed over to Dr Aini since the submission is around week two of semester 3 😢😢

then, i got a message from an acquaintance, asked me if i had register an elective sekian3 for semester 3

"kau tak amik elektif sekian3 ke sem 3 nanti???"

"err tak, aku nak amik balik microbiology"

then she asked,"kau kene repeat balik ke microbe?"

Hahahahahaha jujur rasa macam tak guna 😥😥

I've passed since i met the subject requirement in the first semester but it just me, myself, want to try for a higher grade by retaking microbiology so that there's some improvement in my CGPA. Get it? Get it? ok, good then.

Then i remember, what has been told by Cikgu Dzul during my days in matriculation.

"repeat pun satu usaha juga, untuk kita berjaya", kata Cikgu Dzul dalam kuliah bio, semester kedua, hari jumaat, pukul 12.43pm😊

Frankly speaking, i'm not blaming anyone for such an accusation. The fact that when i was in my first year (i'm about into semester 3 in the second week of Sept 2018) used to believe that if, the seniors re-took classes, they must be with D and F grades.

and yup, now there's no such thing. in fact, my senior, a chinese, re-took genetics for the sake of 4flat and his name was in the dean's list for last semester. Not many made it but he was the one.

Pray for me guys:)

I know that i'm always come up with rants, rants, and rants in my blogposts. So, now I've probably broken my personal record for sharing few places i''ve been were so far during the semester break in 2018.

A date with the lilysters is awesome since i cant make it to meet up on our hari raya gathering at Qurratu's house cuz i need to sit for my final exams for semester 2. So, we decided to have a catching up session before our upcoming new semester 3 on september.

Remember these girls i've been mentioned on our trip to Legoland? They're all grown ups now :)

People, meet Azizah/Kak Jah. She's now currently pursuing a degree in 'pengurusan perniagaan' at UITM

This is Mifit. She's now taking a degree in biomedic at UPM

meet Qurratu or simply called Qurr.  She's the most fabulous lilysters ever since! She's now study about English Literature at UIA

And my most favourite, Fatin Sayang.  She's further her study in biodiversity at UTHM.

So, we decided to visit National Visual Arts Gallery (malay: Balai Seni Negara) by taking ERL in Putrajaya and catch grabcar near KL Sentral.

Kak Jah candid pose

Fatin and i took our selfies in ERL

National Visual Arts Gallery (Malaysia)

This is actually not my very first time visit the gallery. as far as i remember, i went there during a school trip with Farisya & Musmay in 2011.

Since the admission is free, we save some money for lunch. The gallery allows the visitors to take photos as long as you turn off your camera flash.

Bringing the friendship into the next level

kononnya acah-acah nak pose macam pembunuh bersiri

giving kisses to this atok

Fatin & i off to Pameran Lawak Kampus next to the gallery while Qurr, Mifit and Azizah had their churros

This is the place where Keith used to sketch his drawings

churros time!

Then, there was a session of 'angkat-mengangkat' pose :p

cuz i'm a living skeleton.

Window Shopping at Pavilion KL Stores

we stopped by at the surau Pavilion to perform solat zuhur before had a bite at KyoChon.

At the surau hallway

incompleted lilysters

KyoChon 1991| Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

my first try on korean-style fried chicken was good since i'm not into korean food for 20 years of living (except for eating samyang). i just love their garlic soy chicken for its crispness and fairly strong garlic flavor with its sweetness of honey and soy. huhuhuh

Lastly, we enjoyed took our selfies near the Pavilion Crystal Fountain :)

Kak Jah yang lawa
